Haruyo Higashi is a Tokyo-based illustrator known for her delicate monochrome line drawings inspired by manga. Her work captures everyday moments—people, places, and fleeting emotions—through fine gestures and thoughtful use of space, creating scenes that feel both still and alive. She was recently featured at Meet Your Art Festival 2024 in Tokyo, one of Japan’s largest art and culture events.

Higashi continues to exhibit in solo and group shows while also collaborating on limited-edition products. Her understated linework and subtle characters translate naturally into wearable formats like T-shirts, bringing her quiet yet resonant expression into daily life.
