Kazumasa Nagai
Graphic designer, born in Osaka in 1929. In 1960, he participated in the founding of Nippon Design Center.He became a member of Tokyo Art Directors Club in 1965, and International Graphic Association in 1966. Currently, he is a JAGDA (Japan Graphic Designers Association) Special Advisor. He has created many symbol marks for the Sapporo Winter Olympics, Ibaraki Prefecture, Niigata Prefecture, and Asahi Beer. He also works on a wide range of posters, and has received many awards both in Japan and overseas, including the Medal with Purple Ribbon and the Order of the Rising Sun. Since the late 1980s, he has started the series with animal and plant themes called "LIFE".
