Mateja Kovac, was born in 1983. lives and works in Samobor, Croatia, as a freelance illustrator. Graduated at the Art Academy in Zagreb, 2006.  Since then her art has taken her from restoration, classical painting, interior design and finally today, to the place she can call her home…illustration. The main motivation in her illustrations is the possibility of transferring the simple emotions, like making somebody happy, or just living up the routine trough everyday motives.
