Teppei Takahashi
TEPPEI TAKAHASHI is a Tokyo-based illustrator and painter. Influenced by Black culture and Japanese street culture, he creates works characterized by his distinctive line work.
His art is defined by fluid, continuous lines that evoke the feeling of drawing in a single stroke. These flowing lines capture motifs drawn from emotions, nature, and the energy found in urban landscapes.
As an illustrator, he has collaborated with apparel brands including UNDERCOVER, NEIGHBORHOOD, and phingerin, as well as cosmetic brands such as shu uemura, in addition to creating artwork for CD covers, advertisements, and various other projects. As a painter, he also works on murals and has participated in exhibitions including the Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary exhibition at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO (2023) and the Garfield 45th Anniversary “It’s a Cat’s Life” exhibition (2023).
